Setting up

Extend your right leg behind you. Bend at the knee, take hold of the inside of your right foot. Stretch your left arm up.

Begin

Keep your gaze focused on one spot in front of you. Inhale Open all sides of your heart as you exhale and press your foot back into your hand to elevate your thigh. Lift your chest. Inhale into your back body as your universal self-connects to all dancers. Exhale, as you reveal your truest, individual self.

When you practice mindful breathing you are practicing controlling how your body and mind responds to stress, you are practicing bringing your heart rate and breathing back to a calm state.
